Why session times for a particular movie are changing?
The Management reserves the right, in unavoidable circumstances, to make changes to or cancel the movie and/or movie show times at any Reel Cinemas without prior notice for reasons beyond our control. Please visit our website from time to time for up to date shows and timings.

Why is a session time different at the Cineplex than what is shown in the newspaper or internet movie listings?
We must submit our session times for newspaper and internet listings at least 3 days in advance and even earlier when there's a public holiday. So when there are changes to the schedules, these cannot be corrected as amendments aren't accepted after submission. To confirm a session time, please check the updated schedules on our website or app.

How many days in advance can I book tickets?
You can book tickets as soon as a movie session becomes available on our website or app.

What time do the cinemas open?
Reel Cinemas at Dubai Mall, The Spring Souk, Dubai Marina Mall opens from 10 am and close 30 minutes after the last showtime.

Note: Cinema operation hours vary hence customers may refer from movie sessions.

Can I cancel my booking and request a refund?
After your booking is confirmed and paid for, no cancellations or refunds will be allowed under any circumstances. All tickets sold are non-returnable and non-refundable, even if you do not turn up to watch your movie.

How can I make changes to my booking?

You can only make changes to your booking by going directly to the Cineplex where you booked your tickets. This is subject to seat availability for the movie and/or showtime that you want to change to.

You need to make the changes at least 2 hours before the movie showtime that you originally booked. No changes can be made after the movie that you originally booked has started. All tickets and bookings fees are non-refundable.

Do children need movie tickets?
Toddlers under 2 years old can enter for free but won't be entitled to their own seat.

What are the rules & regulations in Reel Cinemas?

1) Smoking is not permitted inside the cinema auditorium. Neither is bringing in your own food and drinks. The cinema reserves the right to do random bag checks at the auditorium entrance.

2) Any recording devices are strictly prohibited inside the cinema.

3) Reel Cinemas strictly adheres to the film rating regulations of the UAE and reserves the right to refuse admission if proof of age cannot be given.

What do film ratings mean?

Movie ratings are mandated by the National Media Council and are strictly followed at Reel Cinemas. You must not purchase tickets for people who are not permitted by the ratings to watch that movie. Unfortunately, no refunds or exchanges will be applicable on any such purchases.

Online F&B Orders

Why am I not able to activate my order on the app?
Your order can only be activated 30 minutes before the movie session. If you are arriving earlier and wish to get your order ahead of time, please ask one of our team members on location for assistance.

Do you start preparing my order immediately upon ordering?

We will only start preparing your order once your order has been activated on the app or when your QR code is scanned at our cinema counters.

How can I locate my orders QR code?
Once we receive your food and drinks order, you will get a confirmation email with your QR. If you have placed your order as a Reel Cinemas member, you can find your QR code in your order history.

What can I do if I cannot access my QR code?
If you cannot find your QR code, our support team at the cinemas counters can help you if you provide them with the credit/debit card number you used to make the purchase. They will also get your order prepared so that you can collect it from the food collection counter.

Is the online food and drinks menu the same as the one served at the cinema counters?
You will find a wider selection of items at our cinema counters and locations, including our famed Dine-In experience. However, more items will be added to our online food and drinks menu soon.

Can my order be collected from another Reel Cinemas location?
You can only collect your food and drinks order from the cinema you selected on the website or app when placing the order.

Where can I collect my online food and drinks order?

We have dedicated counters for online orders only that you can easily find. Look out for screens above the counter mentioning 'Food and Beverages Online Orders'.

If I have made a mistake, how can I cancel my order? Can I also get a refund?
If the order has not been activated via the app or at the cinema counters, you can cancel it. To process your refund, please contact our customer support team at ticket@reelcinemas.ae and provide your order ID. You cannot cancel your order and get a refund once the QR code has been scanned in the cinema or if the order has been activated via the app.

Can I get a refund If I did not collect my order after activating it?
Once activated, orders cannot be cancelled or refund as they are prepared immediately upon activation.

Can I collect my order after my movie if I did not collect it after activation?
All uncollected orders will be disposed of after 30 minutes as per our health and safety rules.

I missed out on activating my order; can I use it for some other time?

Can I make changes to my order after I have paid for it?

Yes, you can select your seats by clicking on the seats you want on the seating plan. You'll be charged according to the number of seats selected.

The seats you have selected are highlighted in purple. To de-select, click on the purple seats and you can re-select your preferred seats again.

How many tickets can I purchase online?
There is a maximum purchase limit of 10 tickets per transaction. You may perform as many transactions as you wish and there are no online booking fees.

To collect tickets at the box office, the cardholder must bring along the same credit card used to make the booking online.

3D Movies

What can I expect when watching a 3D movie?
The visual presentation system employed in 3D movies attempts to maintain or recreate moving images of the third dimension, giving the illusion of depth. So you can expect the visuals to "come alive" as if the characters and objects in the film are actually in the same room as you.

Will the cinema screen be able to project the 3D effects successfully as the screen is flat?
Yes, with special 3D projection equipment and the special 3D glasses. A pair of 3D glasses will help create the illusion of depth required to make the on-screen visuals "pop out" of the screen, as if it were right in front of you.

Are we able to know in advance which movies are going to be screened in 3D?
Yes, we will advertise this information online and within our Cineplexes as soon as we receive confirmation from the film distributors on the availability of the 3D movie.

Why is a 3D movie ticket more expensive than regular movie ticket?

We attach a premium value to 3D tickets because of the investment costs required for a smooth and efficient presentation and experience.

Unlike 2D digital presentations, the costs involved in the equipment, glasses, manpower and service / equipment maintenance are significantly higher.

What happens if there is a defect found on the glasses before the movie?
You will need to approach the usher at the back of the hall to exchange your pair for another one before the start of the movie.

You are free to leave the hall if the 3D effects not sit well with you, but we will be unable to offer a refund if there are no technical faults or problems with the service.

Why are children below 2 years of age not recommended to watch 3D movies?
We do not recommend it because everyone needs a pair of 3D glasses, and these are only given out with an admission ticket. As a child below 2 years of age doesn't need a ticket, this would mean you'd need to buy an extra ticket. Also, the glasses are a one-size-fits all design, which may not fit your child.

Please approach the usher station in front of the main entrance and he / she will assist you.

Reel Drive-in

How can I book my tickets?

Tickets can be purchased on the Reel Cinemas website or through the app and includes an F&B package.

AED170 per car at Dubai Mall Zabeel and Dubai Hills Estate (maximum of 4 persons per car from the same family). AED160 per car at Yas Marina Circuit (maximum of 3 persons per car from the same family)

The purchase of 5 tickets (5 cars) is allowed per transaction. Please make sure you share the QR code with the passengers of the other vehicles you booked for.

How many people are allowed inside each car?
A maximum of 4 persons per car from the same family at Zabeel Mall and Dubai Hills Estate, and a maximum of 3 persons per car at Yas Marina Circuit.

Can I choose my parking slot the same way I would choose my seat at the movie theatre?
Parking spaces will be arranged upon arrival based on the car size for an optimum viewing experience for all.

Can I bring food from outside the venue?
Food from outside the venue is not allowed. The ticket includes a F&B package consisting of 1 regular cheese popcorn, 1 regular salt popcorn, 1 regular nachos, 2 chocolate bars, 2 soft drinks and 2 water bottles.

Are there age restrictions?
Movie age ratings are applied. Staff might ask for your Emirates ID to verify your age in some cases.
